Making Data Actionable
Keynote
Robert Williamson, CMRP, CPMM, MIAM, President, Strategic Work Systems, Inc.

Making decisions about what to improve and how to measure the rate of improvement requires a systematic use of data. But, more than raw data, data bases, or spreadsheets, using the right data the right way is key. Many organizations today are already awash in data anticipating a tsunami of data on the horizon thanks to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and as some are forecasting, the Internet of Everything.

Today’s business leaders must to find ways to make data more user-friendly to be successful in maintenance, in operations, and ultimately to the benefit of their organizations, their customers, and their stakeholders.

This keynote session combines insights from the presenter’s teaching and consulting experience in more than 450 plants and his 25-year study of NASCAR race teams and pit crews.
