Greg Olynyk, Senior SAP Consultant, Go Training

Greg Olynyk is a public speaker and educator with over 30 years’ experience in educating users at all levels in the use of various software. He has vast experience in programming databases systems. He has worked on many projects for Catalyst Paper, the Government of British Columbia, Newmont Mining, New Gold, Shell Canada, Larprino Foods, Fortis Alberta, City of Edmonton and many others.

Over the last decade, Greg has specialized in SAP Plant Maintenance Functional Use and Master Data consulting. He has been involved in many projects involving various methods in collecting and processing data, constantly working towards user acceptance and user friendliness. He has spoken on various topics at Conferences in Florida, California, Texas and Australia. Greg’s most recent project involved communicating with manufacturers, vendors, Project Engineers, Reliability Engineers, and Planners to consolidate master data for processing and loading into SAP for a new plant.

Consistency and accuracy in master data creation is the foundation of any enterprise system, and is crucial to managing your business. You need to have usability of data in searches, reporting, and analysis.

In the designing and commissioning of a new plant, many opportunities for optimization and automation present themselves. This presentation will cover various issues you will encounter and options to help remedy them, while keeping in mind the requirements and skills of the various stakeholders.
