SESSION

Security is the Foundation in the New Digital Economy
Keynote
Matt Morris, Global IoT Portfolio Lead (Industries, Industrial Security, Smart Cities, and Healthcare), Cisco Systems

Cisco is “all in” on Security. Todays’ highly-interconnected world contains an advanced threat landscape, and security has quickly become the foundation or enabler to digitization and successful business outcomes.

As an organization embarks upon digital transformation and considers adoption of digitization technologies, it must have a solid foundation built upon strong, adaptive, and resilient security capabilities. If this foundation doesn’t exist, the ability to achieve successful digitization outcomes is greatly diminished, if not impossible.

Strong, adaptive, and resilient security capabilities help protect Business Value (current and future investments), provide a platform for driving Digital Agility in the marketplace, and help enable long-term business Innovation and Growth.

We will discuss some of the challenges that organizations face along the way to fully achieving their digitization outcomes. More importantly, we will discuss how capabilities that exist today can enable your digital transformation.
